It was probably in the late 2000s when I started to appreciate what a latte, a flat white or a cappuccino is. Third-wave coffee was starting to grow in Singapore, and I enjoyed cafe hopping. Pour-overs, piccolo, single-origin, acidity, body - words that took on new meaning as I drank more coffee.
hospitality
I did a couple of part-time jobs in retail and F&B, and truly loved the experiences: talking to people and serving them.
The dream of owning a cafe one day grew quietly within.
service
The concept of omotenashi.
